Inspector Certifications

Trained and Experienced

Our inspectors are Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® trained by InterNACHI—the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (www.NACHI.org)—which is the world's largest nonprofit association of residential and commercial property inspectors that provides education, training, and certification.

All InterNACHI-Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® are required to pass an Inspector Exam, follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice, abide by a strict Code of Ethics, and take accredited Continuing Education courses each year in order to maintain their membership in good standing.

In order to become certified, our inspectors were required to take inspection courses related to the interior and exterior of the home, including the common and major areas of concern for home buyers, such as the foundation, heating and cooling, roof, plumbing, and electrical systems. Our inspectors are graduates of the InterNACHI® School, the world's only home inspector college that offers the nationally-accredited Home Inspector Certificate Program.

Buying a home is typically the biggest investment you will ever make, so it's important to get a home inspection because the inspector can find and document defects that may or may not be evident to you.  Such defects can range from simple replacements or repairs to severe damage or safety and health concerns.

About Your Home Inspector

My name in John Aber and I have been involved in the trades since graduating high school. I have received an associates degree from Pennsylvania college of technology in 2011 and I am almost completed with another associates degree from corning community college. In spring of 2021 I completed a certified home inspector course through ATI and passed the NYS exam.
The First year I had my NYS license I worked under a local home inspector with over 30 years experience as a home inspector. This provided me with excellent classroom education and infield training.
I have always been very interested in problem solving or "connecting the dots" when it comes to diagnosing what has happened in a home whether it is a problem or I'm just curious the way something was constructed. This is what pushed me to become a certified home inspector. Now I can help educate my clients about how their homes work and how to maintain them.
